Today was a great day. I always liked going over to the farm as a kid for Easter. We got up early this morning and went to church for 8 o'clock. It was a little chilly so i had kyra wear her sweater which she really did not want to do. Who makes these dresses anyway. Its not like we all live in California! I guess we should just make them wear snow suites or something. Whew... I digress. After church we stopped and got some seetrolls for breakfast. After a while family started showing up for dinner (lunch). I think this is when we discovered the microwave was broken... On Easter! So mom and I hoped in the car and headed for LaCrosse to get a new one at Menards. It was a white over the stove type but being the super shoppers we are, mom and I were successful in our mission! After the egg hunts and mini-dramas, this was one of the best weekends EVER... have I ever mentioned I love my life.

Saturday at the Farm
Today we got a few projects done at my grandma's. There was quite a bit of yard work to do and we had a blast getting it all done as a family. Kyra had tons of fun riding on the four wheeler to the burning pile and raked the grass like a pro. Little Kaitlynn had never really been outside so this was her first time. granted it was only five minutes or so... it still counts right?

Lounging
Today was a pretty peaceful day. We all just kinda sat around and visited with each other. My cousins Theresa and Kristina were off of work today so we went rummaging with them early this morning. Crazy I know, but it was soooo much fun and the prices were pretty great! I mean, who would have thought that a donut and a diet coke could taste so good at 6:30 AM? Well, they were. What a great life...

Visiting the farm
this weekend we are visiting family over in Sparta Wisconsin. That is where my father is originally from. My cousin Theresa had her son Brock 2 months after Kaitlynn was born. We actually had our due dates exactly eight weeks apart... isn't it funny though that life is not always on a schedule. I went a week overdue and she was a few days early. Ahh... as is life. Little Bella is definitely a peanut :)

Sleepover
Tonight our itty bitty is spending the night at Uncle Andy and Auntie Paula's, technically the weekend I guess. I have to work twelve hour nights Friday, Saturday and Sunday and its Tim's birthday weekend. I know this sounds weird... but I am a little jealous. I cant explain it but, I am glad that Kaitlynn gets to play with her cousins, well as much as a baby can. We are so lucky to have family that really loves her and wants to be around her. And Paula will give her a bath which is awesome! Bella loves to be naked (as you already knew) and Paula doesn't mind havin a baby butt hanging around. Its a win win situation for all of us!

We are going to call you MOUTH
Kaitlynn can not stop putting stuff in her mouth... Its almost ridiculous. At first I thought it was cute and I was excited that she had actually found her mouth. But now its kinda annoying because you cant get her to stop... unless there is a nuk or a bottle in there. We are planning to try and start rice cereal this week which should be interesting... I am not sure though... we might be starting something we are going to regret :)
