Baby its cold outside!
On other news... We went out and helped to decorate the tree and dig out their electrical cords to reset them (power surge). It sounds very minimal but the issue is the fact that we got a foot and a half of snow in the last two days and it doesn't help that they live in the country. So needless to say that their roads were not plowed well and certainly snow was piled high... and all from two days. (I'll take pictures later this week if I remember) So I dug out their lights and reset them and tried to knock off the snow from their trees because the weight of the snow was snapping branches, but it didn't work out so hot. All i got was a backache and wet feet. If it keeps up like this I am going to have to buy some snow pants. I wonder if they come in a size super chubby fatso? (Don't worry, I am happy with myself, just a little frustrated with my stress eating). But its the holidays, might as well have a good time right? Kyra and I are looking forward to competing on a take home version of dance dance revolution. (I'll blog about it in the future)
So it was 3 degrees on the ride home tonight. I let the car warm up before we left but it didn't really do anything except waste my gas. I guess it was a tiny bit warmer than outside. Kaitlynn is not to sure about this cold weather stuff. She has a hard time keeping her eyes open and the cold air takes her breath away... it should be an interesting winter to say the least.

Winter Wonderland
Remember that snow I mentioned last week? Well we got it today... ALOT of it! I am not sure of the official depth but it was like two feet in two days...Yuck. We couldn't even get out of the driveway this morning after a few hours of shoveling and snow blowing we said forget it. Timmy stayed home with Bella and I, watched a few movies and got the Xmas presents wrapped. Now if I could tackle the tree we would be all set! Later in the afternoon we went back to snow removal. The plows are a good thing; I know this. But every time they go through they throw up a bunch of wet packey snow onto our driveway... it never ends. Why did I ask for snow again?

Cookies with Santa
Last night we (being my mother and I) took the girls to Kyra's school for Cookies with Santa. It was a sweet little time. The school's PTA put it on and there were a few stations where the kids could make different things. Kyra's was the reindeer food but she was disappointed because the glitter was not edible; the other things were like granola and oatmeal. But she felt that if you were really going to feed the reindeer that the glitter would hurt them... what a sweetie. he decorated cookies and made gift tags. The kids were encouraged to wear their jammies so I put her in this cute little red nightgown. Unfortunately miss Kyra Jean was not so happy when he got there because all the other kids were wearing sleep pants... ugh. She got over it when Santa showed up... she asked for a Wii... no pressure right? After touring the gift shop (bunch of junk I might add) we decided that we might go shopping somewhere else this next weekend. Kaitlynn had fun climbing the stage stairs, she's getting pretty good at it. All in all it was a very nice night. Afterwards we set out to go looking at Christmas lights. I have to say they would look better with some snow.

Its a BOY!!!
Becky had a bouncing baby boy at 7lbs, 11 oz and 20 inches long. I guess there were some complications with the delivery (emergency C-section), I don't know all the details but mom and baby are doing okay. Little Mister Phillips (waiting on a first name) was born this morning at around 1030. Here's best wishes for baby and mommy... take it easy Becky... you'll need your energy.
Good Luck Becky!
