Focusing

Kaitlynn has been focusing so well lately. She is four and a half months old today. I can't believe how much she has changed in these few months. She is a bit of a chunker... buts its more to hang onto.

Happy Birthday Papa

My Baby is SOOO Big!

So on Tuesday Kaitlynn went to the doctor for her 4 month check up. Can you believe its been 4 months already? Well, she weighed in at 15 lbs 8.5 oz and 25 inches long. She is definitely a chunker! We are going to start rice cereal hopefully next week sometime and praying it helps her stay full longer. The girl knows how to eat. She got her shots that day too. And she was a real champ. The only nice thing about her getting her shots is that she was super cuddly. This pic is from before... she was not smiley after.

Best Day EVER!!!

Today was one of the best days I have ever had! I know it is going to sound crazy but we did almost nothing and it was great. Mom and I started our day off with a 6 am rummage sale. Yes I know... but we have been having withdrawals! I got up at 500 and she picked me up at 530 (in the dark of course). We got there and it was so big we didn't even know where to start. Rummager's paradise. After the big sale we headed back into town and I got Baby Bella ready for a big day of relaxation. The five of us (mom, dad, Kyra Kaitlynn and myself) went to tundra lodge which is a local indoor water park. It opened at 9 and guess who was the first people in the door. You guessed it! We spent the whole day there. Kyra had so much fun she was skipping :) Mom and dad even went down the slides a few times, the lazy river and of course the hot tub. At lunchtime we took a break and went to the Olive Garden. I know... fancy livin... wink wink. It hit the spot. Then we headed back for the Tundra Lodge for an afternoon of swimming and laughs... and a few naps (ie: the sleepy rummagers). It was great... I hope to have more days like that!

Spring Break

Mom is off of school this week for her spring break. the really cool thing is that Dad took off to be home with her... Sorta (he can never really leave the office behind). The cool thing is that I got to see them everyday this week I think. Which is good and bad. It reminded me once in a while of being at home when i was younger. By the end now though, I have had enough family. It will be nice to go back to the normal routine. They got a few projects done though, one of which was putting shelving into my front closet. And i must say... Its awesome. I never knew I had that much room that I wasn't using. Mom also got some things done out at her house that she had been meaning to do. The big one was to take wallpaper down in her bathroom. But whoever put the last stuff in wanted to make sure it never fell down I guess because it is taking FOREVER to get it off. I mean really... do you really need to use that much glue?

Over a Week!

I can't believe its been a week since I have posted... Whew it goes fast. It doesn't help that I have been working different shifts and sleeping at really weird times. I just can never seem to get enough. Lets see... whats new? Well, nothing really. This past Saturday we helped Tim's mom and aunt start sorting/ cleaning at his Grandma's house (who passed away Feb 23). It was an interesting experience one because we sent little Kaitlynn out to mom and dads for the day (they loved it). Two because we were clearing things out which made it STRESSFULL to say the least. Thirdly... and frankly my favorite, the brothers (Tim, Andy and Jeremy) had fun breaking down old furniture to get it up out of the basement ie: an old pull out couch. They actually not only broke the handle on a sledge hammer but one on a pic ax too! They laughed so hard I was sure we would have to change some underwear :) It was great to hear them together... Interestingly enough we get to experience the whole thing again this Sunday, which is fine. But I don't think i necessarily want to give up my weekends for the next few months... not with rummage season coming up :)

This is a set of pics from Paula's page... I stolded them. Thanks Paula!
