Sitting up
Kaitlynn loves to sit up now. Here she is watching Grandpa pay some bills on his kitchen table. She does grab for things now and she's quick and strong...so you have to be pretty careful. I have to say I am quite proud of her though. Dad's Diet Coke did not fair very well, she got ahold of it and it was all over after that; literally. She loved it though, especially since it was her favorite drink (Don't worry, I don't feed my baby soda...yet).

I am 6 months old!!!
Today we took Kaitlynn in for her 6 month checks. Her breathing issues have pretty much resolved and she is doing much better. They weren't sure if it was Asthma, Allergies or RSV. But all the treatments are Albuterol nebulizers so I think the doctor technically diagnosed her with infant cough and wheeze... But anyway, as you can see she got her shots today. She did very well even though she cried when they poked her. What a big girl though. She weighed in at 19 lbs 3 oz and 25 inches long. Which her height is a little on the petite side, but it seems as though the measurements may have been off a bit because I know she didn't shrink from the last visit :) Daddy calls her his "little heifer" and I'll tell you what... There might be something to that~

Check out my Ride!
So Kaitlynn really digs the bouncy bouncers. So much so that we decided to get one for her at all the places she goes. So there is one at home, Auntie Paula's and this is the one from Grammie's. She likes it because there are so many bells and whistles on it... and it really bouncers. She gets some pretty big air too!
We played pretty pretty princess too (Mom, Kyra, Kaitlynn and I)
WE couldnt talk Big Al into playing although he does look pretty good in a set of earings and a crown. LIFE IS GOOD!!!

Memorial Day Weekend
Today Mom and Dad came over to help us with our stone project behind the house. Actually what happened was we dug out the red woodchips because the earwigs that lived there drove Kyra nuts. So I guess it is part of her Birthday present from them :) (June 21st by the way). Anyways Timmy and I went to go get the stones and once we realized just how many there were we decided to call Timmy's brother Andy to come help us. And thank goodness he did because it was quite the chore! It looks beautiful though... and no sign of the bugs yet... Kyra will be happy. I am off to work now, time and a half for the holiday is not so bad :)

One Sick Baby
Kaitlynn has had quite the cough for the last week. She has been really congested in the morning which doesn't help when she sleeps on her tummy. But today she was not as smiley as normal and just looked weird to me. She started wheezing around 9 am and she struggled to breathe. So... being the good Respiratory therapist I am I called the doctor to see when we could get in. They told us to get there as fast as possible and they would have a doctor waiting to see us. Talk about service...and they weren't lying. She did very well at the clinic even though you could tell she didn't feel well. They ended up sending her home on nebulizers which I have to admit are not a foreign concept to me... frankly I experience them WAY too much thank you. Anyway she was breathing better right away and only got better with time. Timmy and I were pretty scared though... Our first real scare.
