Yesterday we setup Dad's present and I had to head back into town because we were going to celebrate Christmas. We did it early because Kyra will be with her mom for the holiday this year and the weekend following it. So what better day than today? She started off making Christmas cookies with her cousins and Auntie Karla for the better part of the morning and early afternoon. Karla had her birthday just a few days ago so we decided to take her out to eat to celebrate. Before that though we took some time to have our family's gift exchange. It was very exciting... Kaitlynn got a few toys, clothes and books. Kyra was stoked when she opened her gifts some of her favorites being the art items, a designing set, rocks that grow, clothes of course and other odds and ends. She will be having a few Christmases this year so we kept a few gifts aside to open later. I was super happy to get my little green machine and my art book full of Outsider Art. Timmy of course loved his Zune (mp3 player) and started playing with it right away. The girls got into some of the packing materials though and made a giant mess... cute... but a pain to clean up.
